Adjusted Plan for the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024

On November 11th, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province issued a document to departments, agencies, and localities regarding the agreement to adjust certain contents of the Plan for organizing the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024.

Accordingly, the People’s Committee of the province agreed to change the date of the Opening Ceremony of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024 from December 6th, 2024 to December 5th, 2024.

• Change in the schedule of the “Da Lat Vegetable and Flower Market – Magical Crystals from the Fertile Land“: From December 26th, 2024 – January 2nd, 2025 to December 6th, 2024 – December 15th, 2024.
• Change in the schedule of the “International Cultural and Art Exchange Da Lat – Chuncheon (South Korea)“: From December 27th, 2024 to December 4th, 2024.
• Change in the schedule of the “Flower and Heritage Street Carnival“: From December 29th, 2024 to December 6th and 7th, 2024.
• Change in the schedule of the “International Flower and Bonsai Exhibition” within the framework of the “Flower Space” program: From December 5th, 2024 – January 5th, 2025 to December 5th, 2024 – December 20th, 2024.

• Change in the name and content of the program: The “Seminar on Preserving and Promoting the Cultural Values of Ethnic Groups in Di Linh District in association with Tourism Development” will be changed to “Di Linh – Identity and Integration” with a series of activities:

  • Fair introducing and displaying typical products with the theme “Fragrance of Coffee, Orchids and Wood.”
  • Photo exhibition with the theme “Di Linh – Past and Present.”
  • Art program introducing new songs about Di Linh.
  • Gong Culture Night.
  • Reenactment of the New Rice Celebration of the K’Ho ethnic group.
  • Location: Central Square of Di Linh District.
  • Time: Within 2 days (after December 8th, 2024).

• Change in the time and venue of the “Exhibition and Trade Promotion of OCOP Products at Da Lat Flower Festival 2024”:

  • Time change: From December 16th – 22nd, 2024 to December 24th – 30th, 2024.
  • Venue change: From Da Lat Urban Culture Park to Tran Quoc Toan Park.

• Change in the time and venue of the “5AM Concert in Da Lat”:

  • Time change: From December 14th, 2024 to December 7th, 2024.
  • Venue change: From Lam Vien Square to Da Lat College (former Da Lat Teacher Training College) and the streets around Xuan Huong Lake.

• Cancellation of the “Korean Music Festival – Da Lat 2024”: The People’s Committee agreed to cancel this program as requested by the Korea Online Distribution Platform Industry Association (KODPIA).

• Addition of the following supporting programs: (More Shows in Dalat Flower Fesitval 2024)

  • “Chill Sparkling World Event – Flower Festival 2024”:
    • Time: November 2nd, 2024
    • Location: Lam Vien Square
  • “Korean Culture Day in Da Lat 2024”:
    • Time: December 13th, 2024
    • Location: Lam Vien Square
  • Classic and Modern Travel Fashion Week combined with Hair Fashion:
    • Time: Expected from December 15th – 25th, 2024
    • Location: Fountain area of Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City
  • Vietnam Art Fresh Flower Exhibition 2024:
    • Time: December 19th – 20th, 2024
    • Location: Dalat Palace Hotel
  • “SAM Tuyen Lam Winter Championship 2024” Golf Tournament to welcome the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival:
    • Time: Saturday, December 21st, 2024
    • Location: SAM Tuyen Lam Golf Course

• Contributing Ideas to the Flower Industry Development Strategy and Members Offering Ideas to Build Sustainable Flower Industry Development” Seminar:
  • Time: December 29th, 2024
  • Location: Dalat Palace Hotel

All other contents will be implemented according to Plan No. 7845/KH-UBND dated September 19th, 2024 of the Provincial People’s Committee.
